                           Transaction in Own Shares


Jupiter Green Investment Trust PLC ('the Company') announces that it has today
purchased 22,941 of the Company's Ordinary shares at 97.6397p per share for
cancellation.

Following this transaction the issued share capital of the Company is
37,339,803 shares of which 3,264,834 are held in Treasury.

For reporting purposes under FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules the market
should exclude any shares held in Treasury and should use the figure of
34,074,969 when determining if they are required to notify their interest in, or
a change to their interest in, Jupiter Green Investment Trust PLC.
