Appointment of director

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment today of Mr Charlie Crole as a non-executive director of the Company. He replaces Tristan Hillgarth who is retiring from the Board.

Mr Crole is Jupiter's Institutional Director and his responsibilities include heading up institutional client servicing and institutional business development at Jupiter.  Amongst his other responsibilities he is also Chairman of Trustees of the Jupiter Pension Scheme.

Jupiter Green Investment Trust's Chairman, Perry Crosthwaite, welcomed the appointment of Charlie to the Board and commented; 'We are sad to see Tristan leaving us but are looking forward to benefitting from the experience that Charlie will bring to Board discussions.'

As required by Listing Rule 9.6.13 Mr Crole has confirmed that he has nothing further to disclose than is set out in this announcement.
