"Jupiter Green Investment Trust PLC (JGC LN) has a history dating back to 1989. The team, led by Charlie Thomas, take a small- and mid-cap bias to global equities that derive the majority of their activity from environmental solutions. Three key areas of focus are: infrastructure, resource efficiency, and demographics. Although JGC has a relatively small asset base, we see the rising demand for sustainable investing and JGC's near-zero discount policy as key driving forces for future growth. Additionally, JGC recently proposed an amended investment objective to include income and a progressive dividend, with dividends covered by underlying portfolio revenues. We believe this widens the appeal of JGC and differentiates JGC from the open-ended strategies managed by the team at Jupiter, and wider peers."
