Jupiter International Green Investment Trust plc ('the Company') has today
received notification from Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited, that they sold
1,059,522 Ordinary shares on 12th September 2000 on behalf of discretionary
funds under management.

The total number of shares now managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited and
its associated companies is 2,000,000 shares representing 6.89% of the issued
share capital of that class.
