The programme of sampling of surface outcrops revealed platinum (Pt) + palladium (Pd) + gold (Au) values of up to 0.3 g/t with copper peaking at 8.48% and nickel at 0.89%. The Company believes that the results obtained are highly encouraging and may reflect considerable geological significance considering the reconnaissance was its first pass. The mineralisation is revealed in an oxidised surface outcrop (technically described as a 'gossan') which caps an underlying mineralised zone, some 400 metres in length with width varying between 4 and 20 metres. The lateral extension of mineralisation is open ended. Further indications of platinum sulphide (possibly sperrylite platinum sulphide) and copper nickel sulphide mineralisation well beyond this area have been identified and will be the target of the next phase of exploration. The Company is currently completing reconnaissance work on all its other global properties in Sierra Leone, South Africa and Canada and hopes to be able to announce these shortly.
