Jubilee Platinum plc (the 'Company') has received notification on the 14th
August 2006, in accordance with part IV of the Companies Act 1985, that there
has been a change in the holding of JP Morgan Chase & Co ('JPMCC') in the
Company's equity.  This has resulted following a sale of 100,000 shares in the
Company by JPMCC's subsidiary JP Morgan Asset Management (UK) Limited.  JPMCC
currently have an interest in 7,800,765 shares in Jubilee Platinum plc,
representing 9.91% of the issued share capital of the company.
