The Board of  Jubilee Platinum plc ('Jubilee' or 'the Company') received
notification on 4 October 2004, in accordance with part IV of the Companies Act
1985, that there has been a change in the holding of Fidelity Management and
Research Company (FMRCO) in the Company's equity.  Prior to the change, FMRCO
held 5,174,522 shares (representing 8% of the Company's share capital).  FMRCO
currently own 4,680,622 shares in Jubilee, representing 7.24% of the Company's
issued share capital.
