            Jubilee Platinum Plc - Disclosure of Interests in Shares



Jubilee Platinum plc ('Jubilee' or 'the Company') announces that on 28 July
2004, Jubilee received notice that 3i Group plc has acquired a notifiable
interest in the share capital of the Company.



The interest comprises 1,500,000 Ordinary shares of 1p each (representing 3.0
per cent of the Company's current issued share capital and representing 2.3 per
cent of the Company's issued share capital as to be increased by the Placing
announced on 28 July 2004).



The registered holder of these shares is BNY (OCS) Nominees Limited a/c 3i
Smaller Quoted Companies.
