                             Grant Of Share Options


The Company announces that it has granted 1,200,000 options at an exercise price
of 85p to employees and directors of the Group, under the Company's share option
scheme. The grants included 650,000 options to Colin Bird and 50,000 options to
Chris Molefe, directors of the Company.

Under the rules of the scheme, the options may not normally be exercised before
the second anniversary of the date of grant and may not in any event be
exercised later than the tenth anniversary of the date of grant.

The total number of options now granted is 4,935,000 (6.27% of current issued
share capital).
