                    Jubilee Platinum plc appoints new broker

Jubilee Platinum Plc ('Jubilee' or 'the Company'), the AIM quoted mining group,
has appointed Numis Securities ('Numis') as its nominated adviser and broker
with immediate effect.  Numis is a rapidly growing investment banking and
institutional stockbroking business with a major position in the mining sector.

The appointment of Numis will assist Jubilee in its mission to develop into a
broader based mining group encompassing both exploration and production.  Numis
offers Jubilee in-depth strategic corporate finance advice, expertise in raising
equity capital and industry rated research capability.

Jubilee has built and continues to build a global portfolio of prospective
platinum group metal (PGM) properties, with primary focus in South Africa in the
prolific Bushveld Complex, which produces more than 70% of the world's platinum
and hosts nearly 90% of world's PGM reserves.  Jubilee is also highly encouraged
by exploration results to date on its concession in Madagascar, which
potentially indicate the presence of a large nickel-copper system.
