           Appointment of Geoffrey Hawkesford as Director
                                  

JETCAM,  the  AIM quoted company which develops and markets  software
systems  for  computer programming of punching and  cutting  machines
used  in  sheet  metal  fabrication, today  announces  that  Geoffrey
Hawkesford has been appointed a Director with effect from 1  November
1999.

The Board of JETCAM is today delighted to announce the appointment of
Geoffrey  Hawkesford as a Director with effect from 1 November  1999,
consequent upon the completion of JETCAM's acquisition of Camtek.

Mr  Hawkesford  founded  Camtek in 1983 and is  responsible  for  the
product development and commercial activities.  He graduated from the
University  of  Aston in 1971, with a first class honours  degree  in
mechanical  engineering.   In  the  early  seventies  he  joined  the
Computer  Aided  Design  Centre  in  Cambridge,  one  of  the   first
organisations  in  the  UK to research CADCAM.   In  1977  he  joined
Counting  House Computing Systems Limited, ultimately being appointed
technical  director.   In  1981  he  joined  N.C.  Riter  Limited  as
technical director before leaving to found Camtek in 1983.

JETCAM's  acquisition of Camtek substantially increases its size  and
the integration of the UK operations of both companies should enhance
the  Group's market profile and give the opportunity for cost savings
and accelerated profit development.  Camtek also provides JETCAM with
a  considerably greater international presence with offices in US, an
affiliated  company in Germany and distributor activities in  various
other countries around the world.
