JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust Plc announces that today it issued 50,000 new Ordinary Shares for cash from Treasury at 295.68 pence per share. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 56,970,928 Ordinary Shares, including 94,000 shares held in Treasury.
