JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust Plc announces that today it issued 135,000 new Ordinary shares for cash from treasury at 191.60 pence per share. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 56,970,928 Ordinary shares and 795,000 shares held in treasury
