LOAN ARRANGEMENTS



The Board of JPMorgan Fleming Mid Cap Investment Trust plc (the 'Company')
announce that the Company has paid down its £10 million credit facility with The
Royal Bank of Scotland plc on its maturity date of 8th July 2004, and also
cancelled the associated interest rate swap.



With effect from 8th July 2004, the Company has entered into a £5million loan
facility (the 'loan') with Allied Irish Bank.  The loan will bear interest at a
floating rate and will mature on 24th April 2006.
