          REPURCHASE OF 11% DEBENTURE STOCK 2011/2016 FOR CANCELLATION


JPMorgan Mid Cap Investment Trust plc announces that on Tuesday 10th January
2006 it purchased £750,000 nominal 11% debenture stock for cancellation.



To date £1,500,000 nominal 11% debenture stock 2011/2016 has been repurchased.



The remaining stock in issue following this repurchase is £9,500,000 nominal.
