CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Fleming Japanese Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 4,288 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated Subscription shareholders. 

The shares in issue following this notification are 39,339,455 Ordinary shares, including 419,500 held in Treasury, and 7,768,841 Subscription shares.
