JPMORGAN INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc has today purchased into Treasury 110,000 ordinary shares at 342.21 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 18,164,788 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 107,452,798. The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
