CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 38,758 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by four uncertificated subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 120,259,015 ordinary shares, including 15,024,788 held in Treasury, and 5,754,528 subscription shares.
