CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 9,934 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by four uncertificated subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 120,273,687 Ordinary shares, including 15,579,788 held in Treasury, and 5,739,856 subscription shares.
