Further to the announcement made on 25th October 2001, the Company announces
that The Registrar of Companies has issued the certificate of incorporation on
change of name and therefore the name of the Company has been changed to
JPMorgan Fleming Indian Investment Trust plc with effect from 5 February 2002.
