ISSUE OF SHARES

JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc announces that on 17 February 2014 it issued 1,100,000 new Ordinary shares for cash at 107.50 pence per share under its Ordinary share block listing facility. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 259,704,438 Ordinary shares.
