JPMORGAN OVERSEAS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES INTO TREASURY

JPMorgan Overseas Investment Trust plc repurchased 123,143 ordinary shares into Treasury at 1047.79 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 5,057,752 ordinary shares in Treasury.  The remaining shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 25,923,348.

The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
