Appointment of New Director

The Board of JPMorgan Overseas Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Carey as an independent non-executive Director of the Company, with immediate effect. 

Mr Carey is currently the Group Executive Deputy Chairman of Jupiter Investment Management Holdings Limited. Prior to this, he was the Joint Group Chief Executive of Jupiter International Group plc from May 2000 to June 2007. He is also a Director of several other investment companies and funds at Jupiter.

There is no further information to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 R (2) to (6).
