                           PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES

The following replaces the Transaction in Own Shares announcement released on
30th May 2006 at 17:24 under RNS Number 7897D.The average size weighted discount
of treasury shares held is 11.45%. Please see below for the revised text.

JPMorgan Fleming European Fledgeling Investment Trust plc announces that on
Tuesday 30th May 2006 it purchased in the market, to hold in treasury, 150,000
ordinary shares at 572.0 pence per share.

Following this repurchase the Company now holds a total of 1,020,000 shares in
treasury at an average size-weighted discount of 11.45%.

The number of shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is
51,761,517.
