               JPMORGAN EUROPEAN FLEDGELING INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

                                 TREASURY STOCK

JPMorgan European Fledgeling Investment Trust plc has today purchased into
treasury 35,990 ordinary shares at 646.95 pence per share.

Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue total 52,781,517
including 3,996,194 shares held in treasury at a weighted average discount of
12.87%.
