                           PURCHASE OF OWN SECURITIES



The following replaces the holding in Company Shares announcement released on
18th May 2006 at 17:12 under RNS Number 2340D. 110,000 shares were brought back
into treasury. Please see below for the revised text.





JPMorgan Fleming European Fledgeling Investment Trust plc announces that on
Thursday 18th May 2006 it purchased in the market, to hold in treasury, 110,000
ordinary shares at 601.0 pence per share.



Following this repurchase the Company now holds a total of 595,000 shares in
treasury at an average size-weighted discount of 10.99%.



The number of shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is
52,186,517.
