               JPMORGAN EUROPEAN FLEDGLING INVESTMENT TRUST PLC


In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, we
would like to notify the market of the following:


JPMorgan European Fledgling Investment Trust plc's capital consists of
52,781,517 ordinary 25 pence shares.  JPMorgan European Fledgling Investment
Trust plc holds 1,881,319 shares in treasury.


Therefore, the total number of voting rights in JPMorgan European Fledgling
Investment Trust plc is 50,900,198.


The above figure (50,900,198) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to, their interest in JPMorgan European Fledgling
Investment Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
