JPMORGAN EUROPEAN SMALLER COMPANIES TRUST PLC

DIVIDEND DECLARATION

The Board of JPMorgan European Smaller Companies Trust plc announces today that, subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting, a final dividend of 2.0 pence per share will be paid on 7th July 2016 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 3rd June 2016 (ex dividend date 2nd June 2016).
