New Director



The Board of JPMorgan Fleming European Fledgeling Investment Trust plc are
pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Tony Davidson as a non-executive
Director with effect from 13th May 2005.



Tony Davidson has a wide experience of European equities and the investment
trust industry. He is currently a Director of RLG with-profits Holdings Limited
and Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada (UK) Limited. He was previously Chief
Executive of Provincial Insurance plc and Chairman of JPMorgan Fleming Worldwide
Income Investment Trust plc.



Notification of other details requiring disclosure under paragraph 16.4 of the
FSA Listing Rules will be made in due course.
