                       LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT

              THE FLEMING EUROPEAN FLEDGELING INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

The Fleming European Fledgeling Investment Trust plc announces that at the
Company's Annual General Meeting held today, all resolutions put to shareholders
were passed, including Special Resolutions authorising the Company to make
market purchases of up to 14.99% of its issued share capital for cancellation;
and to change the Company's name to 'JPMorgan Fleming European Fledgeling
Investment Trust plc'.

The change of company name will become effective on the issue of the certificate
of incorporation on change of name by The Registrar of Companies and a further
announcement will follow in this respect.
