JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On 23 September 2016, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 40,009 Ordinary shares at 706.28 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 6,441,066 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 125,922,459. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
