JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On Friday 18^th May 2012, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 100,000 Ordinary shares at 510.00 pence per share.

Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 114,367,260.

The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
