DIVIDEND DECLARATION

The Board of JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that, subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 14th November 2011, a dividend of 3.5 pence per share will be paid on 21st November 2011 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 28th October 2011.
