DIVIDEND DECLARATION

The Board of JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that, subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting to be held on Thursday 28th October 2010, a dividend of 3.20 pence per share will be paid on 4th November 2010 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 8th October 2010.
