CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 17,979 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of certificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 114,401,234 Ordinary shares and 17,892,291 Subscription shares.
