CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 116 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a certificated Subscription shareholder.

The shares in issue, excluding shares held in Treasury, following this notification are 114,399,875 Ordinary shares and 17,963,650 Subscription shares.
