CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 2,651 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of certificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 114,293,388 Ordinary shares and   18,070,137 Subscription shares.
