CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued 58,464 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of uncertificated Subscription shareholders.

The shares in issue following this notification are 111,136,455 Ordinary shares and   21,227,070 Subscription shares.
