                 REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

JPMorgan Claverhouse Investment Trust plc has today purchased 44,100 ordinary
shares for cancellation at 577.33 pence per share.

Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue total 59,752,681.
