Fourth quarterly interim dividend

The  Directors  have  declared that  a  fourth  quarterly
interim  dividend of 2.20 pence per share  for  the  year
ended  31st December 1999 will be paid on 1st March  2000
to shareholders on the register as at 4th February 2000.

This  payment will bring the total dividend for the  year
to  31st  December 1999 to 7.30 pence (1998: 7.00 pence),
an increase of 4.29% over the previous year.
