                      LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT


New Director

The Board of JPMorgan Fleming Claverhouse Investment Trust plc is pleased to
announce the appointment of Anne McMeehan as a non-executive Director with
effect from 1st January 2006.

Anne McMeehan has worked in the UK financial services industry since 1977. As
Director of Communications at AUTIF (now the Investment Management Association),
the trade association for the UK investment funds industry, her primary
responsibilities covered research, statistics, press, media and public
relations. She was previously a director of Framlington and for six years
Managing Director of its unit trust subsidiary. For some of this period she was
also Deputy Chairman of AUTIF. Her earlier career was with Arbuthnot Latham and
Zurich Financial Services, formerly Hambro Life.

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 of the FSA Listing Rules a further
disclosure will be made within 5 business days.
