RESULTS OF CLASS MEETING AND GENERAL MEETING

The Board of JPMorgan Chinese Investment Trust plc (the "Company") announces that, at a Class Meeting of Subscription shareholders of the Company held today, a special resolution relating to the variation of Subscription Share Rights was duly passed.  The Board further announces that, at a General Meeting of Ordinary shareholders held immediately following the Class Meeting, a special resolution relating the adoption of new Articles of Association was duly passed.
