JPMORGAN CHINESE INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

 

RESULTS OF 2019 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Following the Annual General Meeting of the Company, which was held earlier today, the Board is pleased to announce that all the Ordinary Resolutions put to shareholders were passed.  In addition, the following items of Special Business were also passed which:

           

i.)          will allow the Company to allot shares up to an aggregate nominal amount of £1,817,579 representing approximately 10% of the Company's issued share capital;

 

ii.)         will allow the disapplication of pre-emption rights on the allotment of shares;  

 

iii.)        will allow the Company to make market purchases of up to 10,898,207 Ordinary shares representing 14.99% of the Company's issued share capital; and

 

iv.)        will amend the investment restrictions within the investment policy of the Company.
