SALE OF OWN SECURITIES FROM TREASURY

JPMorgan Chinese Investment Trust plc announces that today it sold from Treasury 179,000 Ordinary shares at 146.25 pence per share.

Following this sale the Company has in issue 75,541,461 Ordinary shares, including 14,056,947 Subscription shares. There are no shares remaining in Treasury.
