JPMorgan Fleming Chinese Investment Trust plc

Exercise of Warrants

The Board of JPMorgan Fleming Chinese Investment Trust plc (the 'Company')
announces that, following the final warrant exercise date on 2nd February 2004,
3,240 new ordinary shares of £0.25 each were allotted with effect from 2nd
February 2004 as a result of the exercise of 3,240 warrants to subscribe for
ordinary shares at 100p per share.  The total issued share capital has therefore
increased to 65,240,630 ordinary shares.

An application has been made to delist the warrants from the Official List.
