JPMORGAN ASIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

The following amendment has been made to the 'JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust plc -Transaction in Own Shares' announcement released on 14/12/2012 at 16.31 under RNS Number 6187T.

JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust plc has today purchased 530,000 ordinary shares for cancellation at 201.00 pence per share. Following the transaction the number of ordinary shares in issue is 106,816,558, not 108,816,558.

All other details remain unchanged.

JPMorgan Asian Investment Trust plc has today purchased 530,000 ordinary shares for cancellation at 201.00 pence per share. Following the transaction the number of ordinary shares in issue is 106,816,558.

The Company also has a total of 8,536,537 subscriptions shares in issue.

The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury. Any shares held in Treasury would only be re-issued at a premium to net asset value.
