The Company announces that it has today purchased 142,218 ordinary shares into Treasury at 391.92 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 28,710,915 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 252,922,995.  The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
