TRANSACTION IN ITS OWN SHARES

14 March 2012

J.P. Morgan Private Equity Limited (the "Company") announces that on 14 March 2012 it has purchased into treasury the following shares: 100,000 US$ Equity Shares at a price of US$ 0.91 per Share.  

The open market purchase will be accretive to the Company's current NAV of $1.24 per US$ Equity Share as at 31 January 2012. 

Following this purchase the Company has 386,540,704 US$ Equity Shares in issue.
