In accordance with Clauses 16.7 and 16.8 of the Listing Rules, I would advise
you that Mrs. Enid Clare Quenault will retire from the Board on 31st March 2000
and will be replaced by MICHAEL EDWARD VIBERT with effect from 1st April 2000.

The above resignation and appointment relate to Directors nominated by the
States of Jersey.
