                           Transaction in Own Shares



The Company announces that between 21 and 24 November 2006 Jarvis purchased
20,000 ordinary shares to hold in Treasury pending cancellation, at an average
price of 95.1275p.


The Company now holds a total of 50,000 ordinary shares in Treasury and will
continue to purchase its own shares for Treasury when appropriate, and in
accordance with the authority granted by its Members.
